Description
What makes this guitar special: You don’t see these every day…an early Fender Custom Shop concoction, loaded with premium features and oozing with blistering hot tone. Where to begin?! You’ve got a Floyd Rose designed two-point tremolo bridge and LSR roller nut with deluxe locking tuners. You’ve got an HSS configured set of Fender Lace Sensor pickup, with a coil switch for the bridge. You’ve got an ultra resonant mahogany body and a set neck design. And finally, the coup de grace…a lightning fast ebony fingerboard. This piece has very little in the way of a “classic Fender,” but everything in the way of a super premium, bad ass guitar. You’re not gonna see another one any time soon…best snap this one up now while you have the chance.
Cosmetic condition: Great condition for a ’92, with a handful of visible surface and playwear scratches with some mild oxidation on the hardware. Curiously, the “S” in Stratocaster is missing (likely polished off), so this one is technically a “Tratocaster.” Overall, it’s a cosmetic 8.5/10.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body in midnight blue finish with 3-ply pearl pickguard and two-point gold tremolo bridge with individually adjustable saddles.
Weight: 8 lb, 6 oz
Neck: C-shaped set maple neck with white side dots and pearl dot inlays. 1 11/16” roller nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Finished headstock with gold Fender logo and gold deluxe locking tuners, in perfect working condition. Gorgeous ebony fingerboard is in marvelous shape, and frets show almost no visible wear whatsoever. Neck is straight and truss rod works as it should.
Electronics: Lace Sensor pickups in HSS configuration (Neck-11.91K ohms, Middle-8.43K ohms, Bridge-26.31K ohms) with 3-way toggle for the bridge pickup. 5-way pickup selector switch and white skirted knobs, 2x tone, 1x volume.
Case: Unoriginal, deluxe hardshell case included. Case is a little rough around the edges, but works great.
