What’s special about this guitar: This is a great playing 1992 Eric Clapton Strat with phenomenal sounding Lace Sensor pickups. The “V’ shaped neck is extremely comfortable and this particular one has a great tarnfer of vibration and sound through the neck and body!
Condition: Various surface scratches and some small nicks and dings throughout the guitar. There is some very light weather checking on the back of the neck towards the headstock. No major nicks, dings or scratches. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and plenty of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with very comfortable action and the truss rod functions perfectly. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured body in black finish. Vintage-style bridge with trem arm. Aged white single-ply pickguard, skirted control knobs and a single-ply aged white back cover plate.
Neck: “V’ shaped maple neck with a skunk stripe down the back and a neck tilt adjustment at the heel. Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Vintage-style nickel tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Fender gold Lace Sensor single-coil pickups with an active preamp with controls for volume, tone and an MDX circuit with a 25DB boost.
Weight: 8lbs, 0.5oz.
Case: Includes original hardshell case. Included in the case are a letter from Fender to the original owner, original receipt and an old Fender catalog.
