What makes this guitar special: A super cool, sleek Ric in a gorgeous Jetglo finish. This piece is in great shape for a ’92, and has that classic Rickenbacker 12-string resonant tone. The original tailpiece has been replaced with a vintage-style trapeze tailpiece, making restringing an absolute breeze. It’s been professionally setup by our expert luthier, so it plays and sound terrific.
Cosmetic condition: Very good overall condition, with various surface and playwear scratches throughout the body of the instrument, as well as a few scuffs and a handful of very small dents. There is one small area of visible residue from where the original tailpiece was removed.
Body: Double cutaway semi-hollow maple body with slash cutaway in beautiful Jetglo finish. Step-down white pickguard and upgraded trapeze tailpiece.
Weight: 7lb, 15.4oz
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with cream colored side dots and cream dot inlays. Rosewood fingerboard is in excellent shape, and frets have a full lifetime of use in them, showing almost no visible wear. 1 5/8” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Chrome sealed Schaller tuners are in perfect working order. Neck is straight and truss rods are fully functional.
Electronics: Rickenbacker Hi Gain single coils (Neck-12.36K ohms, Bridge-11.58K ohms). Dual volume and tone controls with boost/blend knob and 3-way pickup selector switch and mono output.
Case: Original hard shell case included. Case shows some signs of wear (see photos).
