Description
What makes this guitar special: A super cool, pre-Fender, 6118 Anniversary before they began using the "G" designation in front of the model number. Classic Two-Tone Smoke Green finish & fitted with a pair of sweet sounding FilterTron humbuckers for that great Gretsch sound! Professionally set up & ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall - very clean for the most part with some mild surface scratches. There's a small chip in the treble side of the headstock, just below the high E tuner. It also appears there was some finish touch-ups done in that area as well, as the green finish is not really consistent & looks a bit blotchy.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with Neo Classic "thumbnail" inlays. Frets show some light wear & have plenty of life in them. Anniversary 1883 - 1993 Diamond headstock plaque. Chrome Schaller tuners with "G" Arrow logo. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Single-cutaway, hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Bigsby tremolo tailpiece with Space Control bridge on a floating ebony base. Green plexi pickguard with black Gretsch logo. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 14.2 oz.
Pickups: Gretsch FilterTron humbuckers with silver bezels. Master volume & individual pickup volume controls with "G" Arrow knobs; 3-way pickup & tone selectors. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
