Description
What makes this guitar special: Inspired and designed by the late Kurt Cobain, the Jag-Stang combines the best elements of a classic Fender Jaguar and Fender Mustang, as the name suggests. The offset body design gives it a retro-futuristic look, especially in tandem with the eye-catching fiesta red finish. Professionally setup by the experts at Cream City Music, it’ll arrive ready to play out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Good shape for its age, with some standard wear & tear throughout. Various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, chips, and scuffs are present, along with some visible buckle rash and pickwear. There is oxidation on much of the hardware, and frets show some light wear as well.
Body: Double cutaway offset solid body in fiesta red finish with multi-ply pearloid pickguard. Mustang-style Fender tremolo bridge with roller saddles.
Weight: 7 lb, 11.2 oz
Neck: Nicely rounded one piece maple neck with black side dots and pearl dot inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 24" scale length. Vintage style Fender tuners work great. Back of the headstock sports a 40th Anniversary sticker, along with “Designed by Kurt Cobain” sticker. Neck is straight and truss rod works normally.
Electronics: Angled humbucker in the bridge position (12.49k ohms) with single coil in the neck position (10.62k ohms). 3-way phase selector switches. Black control knobs with white indicators, 1x tone, 1x volume.
Case: Fender hard shell case included. Please note: There is no tremolo arm included with this guitar.
