What makes this guitar special: Ultra rare & super cool Gretsch double neck acoustic / electric guitar made in Japan! This gorgeous guitar was manufactured prior to Fender's involvement with Gretsch so there is no certificate of authenticity. The guitar is in fantastic condition for being nearly 20 years old & the orange finish is still quite vibrant! Professionally set up by us with fresh strings & low action, this gorgeous piece of Gretsch history is a definite must have for any Gretsch aficionado!
Cosmetic Condition: Superb condition - very clean & like new!
Necks: Six & twelve string necks made of flame maple with white binding & black side-dots. Beautiful, dark rosewood fingerboards with mother of pearl "thumbnail" inlays. Frets are in perfect condition with no wear. Bound headstocks with flame maple overlays. Gold "G" Arrow tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" nut width on 12-string; 1 11/16" nut width on 6-string; both scale lengths are 25 1/2". Both necks are straight & truss rods work fine.
Body: Solid spruce top with bound triangle sound hole. Ebony bridge & end pins with pearloid dot inlays. The "G" brand is painted on & not carved into the top. Maple back & sides show off some pretty grain patterns. Multi-bound top & back. 17" lower bout width; 12 1/2" upper bout width; 4 1/4" depth. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 5.1 oz.
