The beautifully variegated Pau Ferro fingerboard is smooth and quick, while the fit and finish on this piece afford outstanding resonance. To top it off, it’s super clean, and looks nearly unplayed for a 20-year old guitar. Cosmetic condition: Excellent: Some minor surface scratches and marks from handling, with some negligible first position fretwear.
Body: Chambered basswood body with bound flamed maple top in gorgeous dark honey burst finish. String-through six-saddle fixed bridge.
Weight: 6 lb, 13.6 oz
Neck: Semi-chunky U-shaped hard rock maple neck with white side dots and cream colored dot inlays. Brilliantly variegated Pau Ferro fingerboard is in terrific shape, and frets show only some light wear in the first position. Matching headstock with “A” logo and chrome-sealed Grover tuners in perfect functioning condition. Neck is straight and truss rod works as it should.
Electronics: HSH configuration with individual pickup selector toggles (series/off/parallel), master volume and tone knobs, and blower switch. When the blower switch is enabled, the individual toggles are bypassed and the bridge pickup is turned on full power (series). This configuration can take a bit to get used to, but allows for insane versatility and endless tonal variation.
