Description
What makes this guitar special: A since discontinued model, built with Blues’n in mind. A previous owner swapped the stock Texas Specials for a set of Seymour Duncan pickups, with which sound absolutely killer. The Five-Two pickups in the neck and middle positions sound great, and with the addition of a hot SSL-3 pickup in the bridge, this thing is an absolute blues beast. Throw on a little boost and you’ve got that classic SRV sound! Professionally setup and inspected, ready to play out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Used but not abused, with plenty of real deal playwear throughout. Various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, and scuffs are present, most of which are visible only under direct lighting. The face of the headstock shows what looks like a burn (most likely from a lit cigarette in the strings), and the finish on the back of the neck has been sanded down. The pickguard shows some wear as well.
Body: Contoured double cutaway alder body in Candy Apple Red finish with 3-ply pearloid pickguard and two-point tremolo bridge with individually adjustable saddles.
Weight: 8 lb, 5.5 oz
Neck: Flat-C/D shaped maple neck with white side dots and white dot inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Chrome sealed Fender tuners work great. Rosewood fingerboard is in awesome shape, and frets have a lot of life left. Neck is straight and truss rod works as it should.
Electronics: Seymour Duncan pickups (Neck-6.47k ohms, Middle-6.48k ohms, Bridge-14.87k ohms) with 5-way pickup selector switch and white skirted knobs, 2x tone, 1x volume.
Case: Fender hard shell case included.
