What makes this guitar special: A first year piece in a gorgeous flamed amber finish, with a player upgraded coil tap switch and changed pickups for added tonal versatility. This double cutaway is a lead player’s dream, with full and unhindered access to all 24 frets of the quick and comfortable dark rosewood fingerboard. This piece comes professionally setup by our in-house luthier, and will arrive ready to play.
Cosmetic condition: Pretty good shape for its age, with various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, chips, and scuffs throughout the instrument. The top shows a noticeable chip above the bridge pickup, and another just behind it. There are also some markings around the area where the coil switch was added.
Body: Contoured double cutaway mahogany body with flamed maple top in beautiful amber finish with tune-o-matic bridge and chrome stopbar tailpiece.
Weight: 7lb, 3oz
Neck: Medium profile D-shaped mahogany neck with double bound rosewood fingerboard. 1 11/16” nut width, with 24 3/4" scale length. Headstock features a mother-of-pearl Gibson logo and chrome sealed Grover tuners in perfect working condition. Frets show some light wear but still have a ton of life left in them. Neck is straight and truss rod works fine.
Electronics: Dual Dimarzio humbuckers (Neck-8.39K ohms, Bridge-9.08K ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and 3-way coil switch, along with vintage style speed knobs, 1x volume, 1x tone.
Case: Original hard shell case included.
