This particular model has all the hallmarks both players & collectors are looking for in an R9, along with a stunning flame top finished in Ice Tea Burst. A perfect '59 profile neck combined with PAF humbuckers makes this beauty an awesome sounding guitar! Yamano Music paperwork written in Japanese is included with the guitar. Cosmetic Condition: Marvelous condition for its age - some minor nicks & dings; mild surface scratches & only very light buckle rash. No cracks, breaks or repairs. The guitar has a beautiful, mellow-aged look to it & has been professionally set up by us, so it's in perfect playing condition as well.
Neck: '59 Profile, one-piece mahogany neck with aged cream binding & black side-dots. Nicely figured rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Gibson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid mahogany body with a beautiful flame maple top finished in Ice Tea Burst. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nickel hardware. Single-ply cream pickguard is crack free as is the jackplate. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 13.1 oz. Under 9lbs!
Pickups: Gibson PAF reissue humbuckers with nickel covers & cream bezel rings. Neck - 8.58K ohms; Bridge - 8.34K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original Gibson hardshell case - black tolex case with Custom Art Historic logo & plush maroon interior. Two pieces of Yamano paperwork are also included with the guitar.
