What makes this guitar special: A drop dead gorgeous flame top in cherry finish, this stunning 1960 Classic is a real head turner. With a super smooth slip taper neck & a pair of monstrous sounding Alnico humbuckers, she's ready for action straight out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: A few minor bumps & bruises; surface scratches & worn hardware. The bridge pickup bezel has a small chip in it that was glued & there's a tiny crack in the pickguard. Three of the four control knobs have tiny internal cracks that are purely cosmetic & cannot be felt. Overall the guitar looks great & plays like a charm.
Neck: Slim taper mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets show very little wear & have plenty of life in them. Gibson Deluxe tuners with "tulip" buttons are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid mahogany body with a brilliant flame maple cap & cream binding. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nickel hardware. Single-ply cream pickguard with 1960 logo & cream jackplate with tiny cracks near each screw. Guitar weighs 9 1/2 lbs.
Pickups: Gibson Alnico 498T & 490R humbuckers with exposed coils & cream bezels. Bridge - 14.40K ohms; Neck - 8.28K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Gibson hardshell case included.
