Cosmetic Condition: Superb condition for a guitar that's 13 years old. Obviously well cared for & very clean, with only some mild surface scratches. The top shows off a beautiful golden color & there's some really nice variegation in the rosewood back & sides. This gorgeous guitar has been professionally set up by us with fresh strings & low action, so not only does it look brand new, it plays like it's brand new!
Neck: Wide, V-shaped mahogany neck with white side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with abalone diamond inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Slotted headstock with Waverly nickel tuners in perfect working condition. 1 13/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & plays great up & down the fingerboard.
Body: Solid spruce top with ivoroid binding & herringbone purfling. Ebony "pyramid" bridge with cream end pins & tortoise dots. Multi-ring rosette; no pickguard. Solid Indian rosewood back & sides with ivoroid binding & ornate center stripe. 15 1/4" lower bout width; 11" upper bout width; 4" depth. The guitar's visual beauty is matched only by its stunning tone - exceptionally clear, bell-like tones that are very dynamic & highly responsive to the touch. The guitar is also very well-balanced between the lows & highs with a sound that projects exceptionally well. In other words this baby is loud & weighs less than 4 1/2 lbs!
