What makes this guitar special: A remarkable sounding custom made archtop that was purposely "aged' at the factory in Germany to give it that well-played, worn-in look. The carved spruce top & thin violin finish add to its marvelous appeal. The floating neck humbucker sounds amazing, delivering warm, rich tones that seem to sustain for days. Cosmetic Condition: Factory relic job - purposely 'aged' at the factory to make it look vintage - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some finish wear.
Neck: Ivoroid-bound maple neck with black side-dots. Neck joins the body at the 16th fret. 24-fret ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Bound headstock with ebony overlay. Mother of pearl "Hofner" headstock logo and floral inlays. Gold Schaller tuners with ebony buttons in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Single cutaway, carved German spruce top with 6-ply binding. Bound cat-eye F-holes with foam "dampening" inserts included. Maple back & sides with some absolutely stunning flame figuring in the back. Adjustable ebony bridge, tailpiece and pickguard with gold hardware. 16" lower bout width; 2 1/4" - 4 1/2" body depth. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 4.5 oz - light weight & resonant!
Pickup: Hofner floating neck humbucker (10.57K ohms) with master volume & tone controls. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included with built-in humidifier & original certificate card.
