What makes this guitar special: A dynamite player with a superb slim tapered neck feel and excellent balance. This piece has been upgraded with a set of Grover locking tuners for ease and stability, making restrings a breeze and keeping it firmly in tune even with rigorous playing. It’s not wanting for looks either, with some nice flame figuring throughout the front and back that really highlight the quality of the wood. It comes professionally setup with its original hard shell case, ready to play the moment you get it.
Cosmetic condition: Various surface and playwear scratches throughout the instrument, along with some pickwear on the guard, light oxidation on the hardware, and some very light buckle rash. There is also some light finish wear on the edges of the fingerboard near the nut, extending up about an inch on the sides of the headstock, but this in no way affects playability.
Body: Double bound maple back and sides with 5-ply black pickguard, Tune-O-Matic bridge, and chrome stopbar tailpiece.
Weight: 8 lb, 12oz
Neck: Slim tapered mahogany neck with black side dots and pearl dot inlays. Double bound rosewood fingerboard is in great shape, and frets show almost no wear, with a ton of life left in them. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Chrome sealed Grover locking tuners function perfectly. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.
Electronics: Dual Gibson 57 Classic humbuckers (Bridge-7.89K ohms, Neck-7.83K ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and black tophat knobs, 2x tone, 2x volume.
Case: Original hard shell case included.
