What makes this guitar special: A faithful and thorough reproduction of the iconic 1960 model Stratocaster, built to look like “new old stock” and free from any relicing or gnarly playwear. This one is in great shape, and plays beautifully up and down the length of the super comfortable semi-chunky neck. It’s been professionally setup and inspected by our expert in-house luthier, and will arrive ready to play out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Great condition! Some surface and handling scratches, along with a handful of dings, dents, and scuffs visible under particular lighting. Beyond that, just some light wear on the pickguard. Cosmetically, this one is a 9/10.
Body: Solid double-cutaway contoured alder body in sunburst finish with 3-ply white pickguard and six point string-through tremolo bridge.
Weight: 8 lb, 3.2 oz
Neck: Semi-chunky C-shaped maple neck with white side dots, white dot inlays, and skunk stripe. Nicely variegated rosewood fingerboard is in great shape, and frets show only light wear, with a lot of life left in them. 1 5/8” nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Pre-CBS style headstock with vintage style tuners in perfect working order. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.
Electronics: Triple single coil pickups (Neck-5.74K ohms, Middle-5.68K ohms, Bridge-6.58K ohms) with 5-way pickup selector switch and white skirted knobs, 2x tone, 1x volume. Original control pots have been replaced, but originals are included in the case.
Case: Original hard shell case included, along with Certificate of Authenticity.
