Description
What makes this guitar special: Built to the specs of the classic ’72 Deluxe, this walnut finished beauty has excellent resonance and playability at a much more agreeable price point than the originals it’s modeled after. This particular piece has been player upgraded with a set of Grover tuners, and has a wide and full sound courtesy of the nicely voiced Wide-Range humbuckers. It comes professionally inspected and setup by our in-house luthier, ready to play right out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Pretty good shape overall, with some typical player’s wear. A few surface and playwear scratches throughout, along with a good amount of visible pickwear on the guard and humbuckers. The tuners have been changed to Grovers, but the originals are included.
Body: Solid alder body with belly cut and 3-ply black pickguard in walnut finish with string through six saddle bridge.
Weight: 8 lb, 1.7 oz
Neck: C-shaped maple neck with black side dots and black dot inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Replacement Grover tuners function perfectly, but originals are also included. Fingerboard is in good shape, and frets show only light wear with a ton of life left in them. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.
Electronics: Dual Fender Wide-Range humbuckers (Bridge-8.08K ohms, Neck-7.95K ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and black witch hat knobs, 2x volume, 2x tone.
Case: Unoriginal hard shell case included. Case is covered in stickers but does the job fine and all latches hold.
