Description
This gorgeous guitar is owned by Monte Pittman, guitarist for Prong, Madonna & Adam Lambert. It was used in Adam's video for the song 'What Do You Want From Me?' The guitar was also played on Madonna's Hard Candy promo tour, with shows at the BBC Radio One festival, Radio City Music Hall and the Roseland Ballroom. Guitar picks from Madonna's 2006 Confessions tour & also from her 2008 Sticky & Sweet tour are included with the guitar. A signed & notarized letter acknowledges the guitar's unique provenance & these documents are included with the guitar. Also included is a copy of a photograph showing Monte & the guitar with Adam Lambert. Monte also had the great privilege of meeting the late Les Paul, who signed the guitar in silver marker "To Monte". This guitar is a real beauty & a true gem for any serious collector of celebrity memorabilia.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall - various surface scratches with some minor nicks & dings; light buckle rash. There is a small chip in the finish in the bottom of the body near the strap button. There are no cracks, breaks or repairs. Overall the guitar is in great shape & in perfect playing condition.
Neck: Chunky '50s style mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Bound headstock with diamond inlays. Grover Rotomatic tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid mahogany body with maple top. Multiple body binding on the top & back. Stopbar tailpiece with ABR-1 bridge & gold hardware. The original 5-ply black pickguard is included with the guitar, but is currently not attached so that the Les Paul signature can be viewed. Guitar weighs 10.10 lbs.
Pickups: '57 Classic humbuckers with gold covers & black bezels. Dual volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included, however, the original COA is missing.
