Description

What makes this guitar special: A since discontinued model built with a non-nonsense electronic layout and a dazzling tangerine finish. Like Setzer’s 6120 used on the early Stray Cats albums, the G6120 SHTTV Hot Rod comes with very straightforward electronics-a 3-way pickup selector switch and a master volume knob, which is all the TV Jones Classic humbuckers need to shine. Super resonant, with an ultra smooth ebony fingerboard, this beauty practically plays itself. A previous owner went to the trouble of giving the top a “Hot Rod” stenciled paint job, so this one has all the muscle car motif a guitar could possibly need. With a professional setup from Cream City Music included, this one will arrive ready to go right out of the case. Plug it in and rev it up!

Cosmetic condition: Great overall condition, with some light playwear throughout. Beyond the aftermarket stenciling, there are a handful of surface scratches, nicks, dings, and dents, are present, along with some pickwear and very light fret wear.

Body: Double bound maple hollow body with dual f-holes in candy tangerine finish. Adjust-o-Matic bridge with rosewood base and Bigsby tremolo tailpiece.

Weight: 7 lb, 3 oz

Neck: C-shaped maple neck with black side dots and pearl thumbnail inlays. 1 11/16” nut width. 24.6” scale length. Bound ebony fingerboard is in great shape, and frets show almost no wear, with tons of life left in them. “Hot Rod Model” headstock bade and pearl Gretsch logo. 125th Anniversary badge on back of headstock and Sperzel locking tuners in perfect working order. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.

Electronics: Dual TV Jones Classic Pat. No. humbuckers with 3-way pickup selector switch and G-Arrow master volume knob.

Case: Original hard shell case included. Please note: there is no COA included with this instrument.
