Description

What makes this guitar special: Modeled as a neo-classic with great modern elements, this bass is not only has great tone, but playability as well. Its Hybrid Split pickup embodies the timeless tone associated with its body shape with a solid low end, punchy mids, and enough brightness in the top end for players who need to push up front a bit. Everything is pretty straight-forward in terms of controls, as it needs only one volume and one tone control to get dialed in, but it still has enough range to suit a wide variety of players, especially with a comfortable and familiar C shape neck. In addition, it’s very clean for a used bass and also comes with a pro setup and a semi-hardshell case.

Condition: This bass is in excellent condition overall. It shows only minor dings here and there and light surface scratches throughout, but is still in great shape for a used bass. The frets show only very light wear and still have a full lifetime of playing left in them. The neck is comfortable and the truss rod functions as it should. This bass was photographed with flatwounds, but can be set up and restrung with roundwounds upon request.

Body: Double cutaway contoured ash body in Black finish. 3-ply mint pickguard. Lakland Dual Access bridge with adjustable saddles. Chrome knurled control knobs. Heel-adjust truss rod with pre-cut access cavity.

Neck: Slim to medium depth C shape maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Hipshot licensed Ultralite tuning machines with chrome clover keys. 1 11/16” nut width. 34” scale. .80” deep at the 1st fret and .90” deep at the 12th.

Electronics: Lakland Hybrid Split Pickup. 1 x volume, 1 x tone control.

Weight: 10.35 lbs

Playability/Sound: The slim to medium C shape neck has a bit wider nut width and feels a little bigger than a standard 1.5” P or J neck, but provides a bit more space to move and better string spacing. The Hybrid Split pickup has great low end, a punchy midrange, and a good amount of top end articulation to satisfy a good number of players.

Case: Includes semi-hardshell case.
