Description
What makes this guitar special: Crafted from select tonewoods & built with traditional high-quality features, such as a set-in neck, 24 3/4" scale length & 1 11/16" nut width. This great looking Melody Maker is designed in the image of a classic Gibson Les Paul with a single 491T ceramic humbucker & finished in a gorgeous nitrocellulose satin ebony. Professionally set up with fresh strings & low action so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some finish wear. There was a large, square-shaped decal on the top of the body at one time as evidenced by the "ghosting" image left behind. There's a pretty good sized dent in the back of the neck behind the third fret, but this does not affect playability.
Neck: Medium profile mahogany neck with white side-dots. 12" radius baked maple fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. 22 medium jumbo frets in great shape with no wear. Gibson Deluxe tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Single cut, slab maple body with wrap around chrome tailpiece & black plexi pickguard. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 1.2 oz.
Pickup: Gibson USA 491T Ceramic humbucker - 7.92K ohms. Master volume with black "top hat" knob. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
