What makes this guitar special: A lightweight beauty, with excellent sustain and fabulous resonance. This ‘60s tribute does a great job of paying homage to one of the most famous iterations of the iconic model, with some stripped down appointments to make it more than affordable. The P90’s sound absolutely fantastic, with plenty of bite and clarity not offered by humbuckers, while still retaining much of the warmth of the solid mahogany & maple construction. While the P90s are more easily attributable Professionally inspected and setup by our expert in-house luthier, this piece will arrive ready to play out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Great overall shape, with some standard wear & tear throughout. There are various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, and scuffs present, along with some mild tarnishing on the hardware. Some of the finish has developed a sheen from playing, most notably along the body edges and on the back of the neck.
Body: Solid mahogany body with maple cap in honeyburst finish with dark back & sides. Tune-O-Matic bridge and chrome stopbar tailpiece. Cream colored pickguard.
Weight: 7 lb, 7.7 oz
Neck: ’60 profile solid mahogany neck with pearl side dots and pearl trapezoid inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Rosewood fingerboard is in great shape and frets show no wear. Black headstock overlay with gold Gibson logo. Vintage style Kluson Deluxe tuners work great. Neck is straight and truss rod is functional.
Electronics: Dual P90 single coil pickups with 3-way pickup selector switch and gold tophat knobs, 2x tone, 2x volume.
Case: Unoriginal hard shell case included.
