What makes this guitar special: A superb recreation of one of Gibson's most beloved electric guitars - the '59 Standard Burst. This gorgeous Custom Shop R9 features the typical chunky neck profile; BurstBucker pickups & sports an absolutely gorgeous figured flame top finished in Sunrise Tea Burst. Professionally inspected & set up by our own luthier, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition - very clean & looks practically brand new. Shows some mild surface scratches with a few minor nicks & dings. A bit of the cherry finish from the neck bled into the cream neck & body binding giving it a slightly pinkish hue, but overall the guitar is in marvelous condition.
Neck: Chunky, one-piece mahogany neck with cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Beautiful rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl trapezoid inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners with "tulip" buttons in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid mahogany body with flame maple cap. Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nickel hardware. Single-ply cream pickguard; guitar weighs 8 lbs 14.2 oz.
Pickups: Gibson BurstBucker Humbuckers with nickel covers & cream bezels. Bridge - 8.24K ohms; Neck - 7.81K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with gold "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch & Bumble Bee caps. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with COA & original hang tags.
