What makes this guitar special: A special run Les Paul-one of only 300 made! These “Government Series” guitars were built to pay homage to the famous raid of the Gibson wood stocks by the US Government in 2011. They are built from the actual woods seized, and ultimately returned by, the government. Features include a set of Gibson Dirty Fingers humbuckers, a “Government Series” branded pickguard, and a matte tan finish balanced against black hardware. This piece is in super clean condition-virtually unplayed. Professionally inspected and setup by the experts at Cream City Music, it will arrive ready to play.
Cosmetic condition: Terrific shape! This one shows only some light marks from handling and pickwear on the guard, along with a couple small dents on the back of the neck visible under direct lighting.
Body: Solid mahogany body in satin tan finish with multi-ply black pickguard and “Government Series II” etching. Black pickup bezels and hardware, with Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge and black stopbar tailpiece.
Weight: 8 lb, 3 oz
Neck: Medium profile C/D shaped mahogany neck with white side dots and pearl trapezoid inlays. 1 11/16” nut width, 24 3/4" scale length. Black headstock overlay with tan Gibson logo and Les Paul model logos. Black Grover Rotomatic tuners work great. Rosewood fingerboard is in terrific shape and frets show no wear. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.
Electronics: Dual Gibson Dirty Fingers humbuckers (Bridge-15.56k ohms, Neck-14.97k ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and black speed knobs, 2x tone, 2x volume.
