The W Series version of the guitar that broke all the styling rules of the 1960's now boasts a solid natural look to accompany the full, rich and warm sounds distinctive to Rickenbackers. The iconic design is now strengthened with the natural character of walnut and polished with an oil finish.
Cosmetic Condition: Superb condition - like new & very clean. The guitar was never sold to the public & still has the Made in USA sticker on the pickguard! It has been professionally set up by us with a fresh set of strings & low action, so it plays great!
Neck: Nicely rounded maple & walnut neck with bound maple fingerboard. Pearloid triangle inlays & 24 frets in perfect condition with no wear. Chrome Schaller tuners are in perfect working condition. 1.63" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rods work fine.
Body: Semi-hollow walnut body with single slash F-hole & bound back. "R" tailpiece with adjustable bridge & chrome hardware. Split-level white pickguard with original Made in USA sticker. The body shows off some really gorgeous figuring & variegation in the wood. The guitar weighs under 7 lbs.
Pickups: Hi-Gain single coils. Bridge - 10.95K ohms; Neck - 10.84 ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with blend knob & 3-way toggle switch; mono & stereo output. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with original Rickenbacker accessories bag.
