What makes this guitar special: A great guitar with a long history and that's no small exaggeration - the body is fashioned from reclaimed old-growth redwood. With antique wood reborn in musical instrument form, the versatile 50s Vintage Hot Rod design is a beauty to behold, with a humbucking neck pickup and single-coil bridge pickup for sound as compelling as the guitar's look. A 4-way switch lets you choose between the combination of neck and bridge pickups in either series and parallel. Professionally set up by our luthier with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused, with some play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, buckle rash & some light finish wear.
Neck: D Standard maple neck with skunk stripe. Compound radius maple fingerboard (7.25" to 12") with black dot inlays. 21 narrow jumbo frets show some mild wear & have plenty of life in them. Vintage-style locking tuners are in perfect working condition. 1.65" nut width; 25.5" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid Redwood body with hand-rubbed dark stain oil finish. String thru body tailpiece with 3-saddle vintage-style bridge. 1-ply Bakelite pickguard. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 7.2 oz.
Pickups: Wide Range neck humbucker - 17.16K ohms; Vintage-style bridge single coil - 11.05K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with chrome knurled knobs. 4-way switching; series or parallel. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with paperwork & vintage-style leather strap.
