What makes this guitar special: Establishing a new standard in archtop excellence, crafted with a Solid Formed spruce top, Venetian cutaway, floating pickup, and full-sized hollowbody tone and looks. A dynamite player with a bright, punchy acoustic resonance coupled with a warm, rich tone from the mini humbucker. Professionally set up by our own luthier so it plays & sounds amazing!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition - very clean overall with only mild surface scratches. There's a tiny bit of finish disruption just behind the nut, but this appears to have happened at the factory & is purely cosmetic.
Neck: Perfectly rounded, 3-piece mahogany neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Beautifully figured rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. "The Gibson" mother of pearl headstock inlay. Kluson Keystone tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, single-cutaway body with Solid Formed spruce top & dual F-holes. Nickel trapeze tailpiece with compensated rosewood bridge. Tortoise plexi pickguard & nickel hardware. Quarter Sawn Solid Formed Maple back. The back and sides are formed from two pieces (each) of continuous grain maple through a proprietary building process. Results of this technique are uninterrupted grain for improved tone and the use of 1/3 less wood. 17" lower bout width; 3 1/2" depth. Guitar weighs 6 lbs 4 oz.
Electronics: Pickguard Mounted Mini-Humbucker with nickel cover - 6.20K ohms. Master volume & tone control wheels under the guard. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with the Certificate of Authenticity & Gibson Warranty Registration.
