What makes this guitar special: Built with the performer in mind, the since-discontinued GPCPA1 Plus features a solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides with Ovangkol binding balanced against a solid Sitka Spruce top for outstanding tonal balance and projection. It’s centered around the Fishman F1 Aura Preamp, designed to offer lossless acoustic tone when amplified. Beyond the physical bells and whistles, this piece is also beautifully adorned with pearl inlays throughout, and was custom ordered by the original buyer with an ebony fingerboard, as opposed to the standard richlite. Professionally inspected and set up by the experts at Cream City Music, it will arrive ready to play.
Cosmetic condition: Terrific overall shape, with only some light playwear throughout. A handful of surface scratches are present, along with some light dents and dings visible only under direct light. The back of the guitar shows a pattern of small circle indentations in the clear coat, visible only under direct light (possibly from resting on top of a strap in a case). The original plastic is still on the pickguard!
Body: Ovangkol bound East Indian Rosewood back and sides with solid Sitka Spruce top in natural finish. Ebony bridge with white bridge pins. Multi-ring ivoroid/pearl rosette, ivoroid purfling, and tortoise pickguard.
Weight: 4 lb, 13 oz
Neck: C-shaped satin finished mahogany neck with white side dots and arrow/slotted square inlays. Bound ebony fingerboard is in superb shape, and frets show no visible wear, with tons of life left in them. 1 3/4" nut width, 25.4” scale length. Black headstock overlay with pearl Martin logo. Original gold tuners function perfectly. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.
Electronics: Fishman F1 Aura preamp with built-in presets, image select, phase, compressor, mid scoop, built in tuner, and adjustable volume.
Case: Martin hard shell case included.
