The Deluxe Version of Electro-Harmonix's Big Muff Pi retains the iconic sound of the original Big Muff Pi, while adding in plenty of new features to bring it into the modern world of distortion. Volume, Tone, Sustain, Attack, and Gate knobs all help you craft a tone that's tailored to you, and new Mids Section lets you adjust a variable frequency sweep, boost/cut, and High/Low Q settings. The Mids section of the pedal is also footswitchable, giving you great control over how you EQ the pedal. There is also a bass boost switch, making it work incredibly well with bass guitar or for simply pushing a six-string's low-end frequencies. In addition to its expanded EQ, an expression pedal input gives you further control over the Mids section, allowing for real-time sweeping.
