This is the Multiac Grand Concert SA from Godin. The Multiac is one of many significant contributions Godin has made to the art and craft of guitar building. The basic design of a Multiac is a generously chambered mahogany back piece combined with a thin braced spruce or cedar top like a traditional acoustic would have, but the sound hole has been omitted. The Multiac is designed specifically for the task of being played with amplification. With the advent of high quality sophisticated amplification, there comes a need for an "acoustic" guitar designed for that purpose. The Multiac Grand Concert is constructed just like the immensely popular Multiac Nylon SA but with the traditional classical player in mind. The guitar features a 2" nut with and a very flat 16" fretboard radius. Also the neck joins the body at the 12th fret. The Multiac Grand Concert does feature a nice deep cutaway for access to upper frets. The Grand Concert is the only Multiac that features a cedar top, and this gives the guitar a sweeter mellower tone with a very warm characteristic.

This is a B-Stock or factory blemished guitar. It is not a return or refurbished instrument and it is not used. Almost without exception the blemishes we see from Godin are nearly imperceptible in the form of minor hazing or scuffing on the finish, or a very small drip or buildup.
