This guitar is one of the few full sized hollow body guitars with a single bridge mounted humbucker you'll find on the market today. This is a great guitar that recreates the look sound and feel of an original '59 but with modern dependability and durability. The G6119-1959 is also one of the lightest hollow body models offered by Gretsch. The voice of the guitar is clear and true with tight and punchy bass response and crystal clear treble. The humbucking TV Jones PowerTron pickup offers very low noise and sounds fantastic clean but handle quite a bit of overdrive as well. This guitar is pure Gretsch quality with top notch fretwork and neck angle providing the perfect playability that the Gretsch Professional Collection is known for.
