Description
Martin's Dwight Yoakam DD-28 is a Signature Edition Dreadnought modeled after a classic, delivering lively tone and striking aesthetics. Taking inspiration from Yoakam's original 1972 D-28, this "DD28" features a Sitka Spruce top and East Indian Rosewood back and sides in a dreadnought shape, providing time-honored tone suited perfectly for Yoakam's signature honky-tonk style. The guitar's ebony fingerboard features unique mother of pearl inlays, with a spade at the 5th fret, diamond at the 7th, club at the 9th, and two playing cards at the 12th fret. Adding to the guitar's blend of traditional and non-traditional looks is the bull's horn pickguard, which wraps around to the bass side of the strings. This is a truly unique-looking instrument thanks to its pickguard, stylish inlays, and gorgeously-figured rosewood.
