Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a gorgeous mid 90s 1962 Reissue strat with an incredible feel and sound. The body contours and neck profile are accurate and the pickups sound phenomenal! This one really has a nice transfer of vibration through the neck and body resulting in some nice natural sustain.
Condition: This guitar has been well-played but has tons of life left in it. Various scratches, nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the guitar with some buckle rash on the back. There are a couple large sticker ghosts on the back. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear with some heavier wear in the middle and lower registers. The nut has been upgraded to a bone nut. There is a tiny chip in the nut but it does not affect playability. Neck is nice and straight and the truss rod functions fine. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured body in Sherwood Green finish. Vintage-style bridge with six individual saddles, skirted control knobs, 3-ply mint green pickguard and a single-ply white back cover plate.
Neck: Slender 60s maple neck with some subtle, yet beautiful figuring on the back. Rosewood fingerboard with whit dot inlays and a 1 11/16” bone nut. Vintage-style nickel tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original Fender single-coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge with master volume control, dual tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
