The Godin ACS has quickly become the acoustic / electric guitar of choice for the discerning fingerstyle player and composer. It's similar to the famed Gibson SST but superior in many ways. It's lighter, plays better, sounds better, and has built in access to guitar synth devices. The sound of the ACS works well in many different music styles and the guitar plays extremely well. The top on an ACS is a bit thicker then its Multiac Nylon counterpart. This gives the ACS a much more fundamental tone without excessive overtones, resulting in a sound that's very clean and true with a great percussive nature. This is the newest version with a cedar top that give the guitar a slightly melllower tone and a great look. Also this is the "Slim" version of the ACS which means it has a slighty narrower nut width then the standard ACS. This modification makes it an excellent choice for and alternate guitar for the steel string player. This is "B-Stock" instrument. (Please read below about B Stock). About B Stock:

This is a B-Stock or factory blemished guitar. It is not a return or refurbished instrument and it is not used. Almost without exception the blemishes we see from Godin are nearly imperceptible in the form of minor hazing or scuffing on the finish, or very small drip in the finish near the output jack plate. These blemishes are always very very minor and can save you hundreds of dollars on your purchase! About the Guitar:

The ACS blends classical guitar concepts with elements of solid body design. The incredibly comfortable neck from the Multiac Nylon is used here with a Maple body to achieve our most affordable synth access guitar ever. Although the body is chambered, response from the maple top is more typical of a solid body design than that of a traditional acoustic guitar. This design results in an instrument that is virtually free of feedback, making it easy to use even when the band gets loud.

The engine in both the ACS-SA & ACS-SA Slim includes individual transducer saddles powered by a customized preamp system from the RMCTM Pickup Company. This system not only produces superb amplified sound, but also produces a hexaphonic output through a 13-pin connector enabling direct access to RolandTM GR-Series guitar synthesizers.
