The addition of the 13 pin output for hookup to a compatible guitar synth makes this guitar capable of an extremely wide range of sounds. The Freeway SA does not feature an piezo acoustic output like the LGXT and xtSA models as it's designed for the player who is looking for an purely electric guitar with the addition of a 13 in synth output. The electronics that Godin uses in their synth access guitars is widely considered to be the best for tracking, sensitivity, and integration into the guitars existing electronics. This is a B-Stock or factory blemished guitar. It is not a return or refurbished instrument and it is not used. Almost without exception the blemishes we see from Godin are nearly imperceptible in the form of minor hazing or scuffing on the finish, or very small drip in the finish near the output jack plate. These blemishes are always very very minor and can save you hundreds of dollars on your purchase! About the Freeway SA:

The Freeway Classic became Godin’s most popular model almost immediately following its release. Critics admired the Freeway’s, “expensive custom guitar looks” and “big, balanced sound”. Grabbing the satin-finished, rock maple neck is akin to sliding into your favourite sneakers. But aside from great looks and feel the Freeway scores high marks in the guitar/workhorse department. The hum-single-hum configuration of the Godin pickups produce a broad spectrum of tones, including; big humbucker crunch, wailing Blues, and clean chime-like sounds—to name a few. The Freeway SA (synth access) takes all of the versatility of the Freeway Classic and adds synth/computer access via a built-in 13-pin connector, courtesy of the revolutionary Ghost pickup system installed in the bridge. The Ghost system is made in Canada and uses a proprietary harmonic dampening system that results in superb tracking.
