GE Smith Telecaster Dakota Red33034/17 The FENDER G.E. Smith Telecaster answers the question: What would you get if you blended a vintage '40s-era lap steel guitar with an early '50s Tele? With an extra deep "U"-shaped neck and unique body-mounted bridge pickup, this signature instrument certainly isn't a normal Tele. The big neck on the Fender G.E. Smith Tele is adorned with a custom lap-steel inlay pattern and the bridge is a custom "cut-off" style with three vintage brass saddles. Fender G.E.
