33034/17 - Here for sale is the G6128T-TVP Power Jet w/ Bigsby Tailpiece in the classic black finish. This is a Duo Jet constructed in classic 1960's styling with a few modern touches including humbucking TV Jones PowerTron pickups and a pinned Adjusto-MaticTM bridge. The Power Jet also ads strap locks and deluxe Sperzel locking tuners. These features make this the ideal Jet for high gain rock and roll! The Jet models from the Gretsch's Professional Collection are top quality guitars that have a look, feel and sound all their own since their introduction in 1953. The Jet can be considered a solid body guitar because its constructed of a solid mahogany back, but due to a heavily chambered body and a 3 ply maple top the guitar retains some of the hollow body tone Gretsch guitars are famous for. Additionally the heavily chambered design makes the guitar very lightweight and well balanced. The duo jet's play extremely well with perfect action and neck angle combined with an adjustable bridge. This particular Jet has the TV Jones PowerTron pickups and a USA made Bigsby tremo. The PowerTrons are over are overwound versions of the classic FilterTrons with a hotter output fuller bass and midrange. They are bright and snappy with plenty of punch and sound great when played clean or with as much gain as you can thow at them.
