SOLD Description: 1967 Martin D-21 dreadnought acoustic guitar. Cosmetic Condition: Lots of play wear - nicks, chips, dents, dings & surface scratches. There's quite a bit of weather checking; a couple of superficial side cracks & a repaired top crack. Issues: The guitar has been refretted & has a changed nut. Changed tuners. It also appears to have had a neck reset, but I'm not 100% sure on that. The bridge was off at one point & has been reglued, but not very well as there are some slight gaps on the back where it's glued to the top. Weight: 4 lbs 8 oz. Neck: Mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard. 1.69" nut width. 25.5" scale length. The neck is pretty straight & plays well. Body: Solid spruce top; Brazilian rosewood back & sides. Maple bridge plate. Black body binding. Set Up: Professionally set up by our own luthier & strung with brand new med gauge acoustic strings. Playability / Sound: Very comfortable neck; plays well. Big sound & gorgeous tone! Case: Non-original hard shell case included. Historical Info: The guitar was made for a Martin employee back in '67 so there is no serial number or model name on the neck block. MORE PHOTOS
