Here for sale is the excellent SR Jam 150 Plus acoustic instrument amp in black textured finish. The SR-Jam is one of the best sounding acoustic amps we ever had in our store. It reproduces sound in a very natural way and doesn't sound colored or processed but completely natural. The frequency response across it's wide range is very even and smooth without frequency spikes and nodes often found on acoustic amps. One of the key aspects of the amp is the compression tweeter in favor of the horn drivers usually found on acoustic amps. The tweeter works so much better for high frequency transients and give the sound great presence but remains smooth. The Jam 150 is a very small amp at just 26 lbs and 15" high but it's deceptively loud for its size. The amp could easily handle a small venue for solo instrumentalist. The amp is packed with useful features that make it a great for the gigging performer. It's got multiple channels so you can have a few instruments amplified. It's got a great built in effects section designed by Alesis to ad a bit of reverb or delay to your signal. The best type of microphone for an acoustic guitar is a high quality condenser and the JAM-150 has phantom power so it's ready to go. It has a speaker stand mount on the bottom so it can be elevated easily. The amp has a host of other features more common on mixing desks then guitar amps.
