Description: 1940's Martin Style 1 Mahogany Ukulele Guitar Condition: Various scratches, weather checking, nicks and dings throughout finish. There are two small filled holes. One between the bass side bouts, the other on the back (see photos). Fingerboard has very light play wear in areas, and frets look perfect without any play wear. Body: Mahogany top, sides and back with double tortoise binding. Mahogany bridge and two inlayed rings around sound hole. Neck: 13 ¾" scale length mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, white dot inlays, and 1 6/16" nut width. Headstock features original friction tuners in perfect working condition. Set Up: Professionally set up by our guitar tech with Aquila Soprano Ukulele Strings. Weight: 8.4oz. Playability/Sound: Very comfortable and easy to play neck. Mahogany body allows both single notes and chords to ring out nicely. There is a lot of natural volume and resonance in this instrument. The two small patches, while not cosmetically appealing, do not affect the sound at all.
