Description
What makes this guitar special: "Electric yellow has got me by the brain banana." Super cool & ultra rare '87 G&L Rampage finished in a brilliant neon yellow. A pure & simple rockin' machine with just a single Schaller bridge humbucker, master volume & Kahler tremolo bridge. But what's truly interesting about the guitar are the two Leo Fender signatures in blue ink - one on the back of the neck heel & the other in the neck pocket of the body. Now how cool is that!
Cosmetic Condition: Pretty nice shape for being 30 years old, but there are signs of some mild play wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some light finish wear. Overall the guitar looks fantastic & has a great '80s vibe!
Neck: Wide profile maple neck with black side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with practically no wear. G&L embossed Schaller tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" nut width with Pat Pend Guitar Tech locking mechanism. 25 1/2" scale length; neck is straight & truss rod functions fine.
Body: Contoured, solid body finished in yellow with Kahler tremolo bridge. Unfortunately the original trem arm was missing so we included a gold one that works as a suitable substitute. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 15.1 oz.
Pickup: Schaller bridge humbucker made in Germany - 8.08K ohms. Master volume with black knurled knob.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
