Description
What makes this guitar special: A perfect take on a timeless model, this J-45 Standard Cutaway blends tradition and modern touch. The cutaway is obviously the most notable feature, but in combination with its Slim Taper neck, provides that much more fingerboard reach and overall playability. Its inherent tone isn’t much different than that of a standard non-cutaway model, but benefits from having an ever-so-slightly shifted midrange that perfectly scoops just a touch to accommodate the vocal range even further. In terms of its tone overall, it has a tight yet responsive low end, rich complex midrange and a crisp top end that stays as such even with heavy flatpicking. Its LR Baggs pickup system is wonderfully transparent and amplifies the guitar’s inherent tonal qualities with minimal coloration, yet provides additional control should a player need to taper their tone. Plus, it’s still in great shape for being used and will receive a professional in-house setup so it plays that much better for the next owner.
Cosmetic Condition: This guitar is in excellent condition overall, if not mint. It shows only very light playwear in the form of light surface scratches but is otherwise super clean for a used guitar. The frets have barely been touched. The electronics have been fully tested are all working as they should. The neck is straight and the truss rod is functioning perfectly.
