Description
Condition: This guitar is in excellent shape overall and looks great! There are some very light surface scratches throughout the finish. There is a tiny gap on he bass side of the nut but it does not cause any issues whatsoever. Fingerboard and frets have hardly any play wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with low, comfortable action. The truss rod functions fine. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound semi-hollow body with spruce top and maple back and sides with a spruce center block in light blue finish. Bigsby tailpiece, Tunamatic bridge, skirted control knobs and dual bound 50s style sound holes.
Neck: Slender maple neck with a bound Ebony fingerboard with white dot inlays and a 1 5/18” nut. Bound headstock with Schaller tuners, 24.7” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Hofner Diamond pickups in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 7.60K Ohms.
Bridge: 9.11K Ohms.
Weight: 7lbs, 6.0oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a beautiful sounding Hofner with a great looking light blue finish. The verythin body offers the response of a solid body thanks to the center block but with a great acoustic quality. The slender neck is extremely comfortable and ideal for players who prefer a very slim neck profile.
