Description
Condition: This guitar is in excellent overall shape! There are a few very light surface scratches and a couple tiny dings throughout the finish. There are a couple of small drips of lacquer on the underside of the sound hole from when the guitar was finished. These are not noticeable when looking directly at the instrument. Fingerboard and frets are pristine. The neck is very straight and the truss rod functions fine. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Double-bound dreadnought body with solid Sitka Spruce top and laminate rosewood back and sides in natural finish. Ebony bridge with Tusq saddle, tortoise pickguard and a three-ring rosette.
Neck: Tropical Mahogany neck with Ebony fingerboard, dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut. Sealed tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Taylor preamp with controls for volume, treble and bass.
Weight: 5lbs, 2.6oz.
Playability/Sound: The combination of the Spruce top and Rosewood back and sides provides a full sound with plenty of low end, punchy mids and crisp highs. The preamp system does a great job of recreating the natural tone of the guitar.
