Description
Cosmetic Condition: A fun little mandolin that plays great & kicks out a killer sound - very loud & resonant. It has a cool, true vintage look with various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & finish wear. It has been professionally set up by us with a fresh pack of strings, so it plays & sounds fantastic!
Neck: Nice, v-shaped mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. The mandolin has been refretted & the frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Mother of pearl Gibson script headstock logo. Open-back strip tuners are in good working condition. 1 3/16" nut width; 14" scale length.
Body: Double-bound A-style body with bound oval soundhole. Nickel tailpiece with The Gibson script logo. Compensated ebony bridge; pickguard is missing. Solid spruce top in sunburst finish with solid maple back & sides. The instrument appears to have been over-sprayed.
Case: Original hardshell case included with a newer padded handle.
