Cosmetic Condition: This gorgeous guitar has been in the same family since it was purchased new & we recently acquired it from the grandson of the original owner. The guitar was played in the family & does show signs of wear & tear. There is a repaired crack in the treble-side of the body, just below the pickguard bracket. The crack was professionally glued & is now stable with no movement. Throughout the rest of the guitar there are various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & general play wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina. It's been professionally set up by us with a fresh pack of strings & low action, so it plays & sounds amazing. It is 100% original with everything in perfect working condition. The neck is super comfortable & the guitar delivers a beautiful resonant tone.
Neck: Semi-chunky mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Original frets are in good condition with some light wear, but plenty of life in them. Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Florentine cutaway, hollow maple body with dual F-holes & 3-ply top binding. Nickel trapeze tailpiece with a compensated rosewood bridge on a floating rosewood base. 5-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 9 oz.
Pickup: P-90 single coil neck pickup - 7.65K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with gold speed knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The case is a bit rough with some tears in the tolex & some slight separation in the back, but serves its purpose well.
