What makes this guitar special: A truly wonderful slope shoulder dreadnought from Gibson's golden age, this gorgeous Country Western offers a warm, woody tone with a sweet, rich voice & marvelous sustain. Nicely aged for the past 60 plus years & showing off a really gorgeous patina. Professionally set up by our own master luthier with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds great!
Cosmetic Condition: Really nice shape with that perfect, true vintage look - used, but not abused - typical nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. There's a very tiny crack in the soundhole near the treble side pickguard, but it's pretty inconsequential. Overall the guitar has a fabulous look it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Chunky mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Replacement Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. There were different tuners on the guitar at one time as evidenced by the additional screw hole just below the high E tuner. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & plays great up & down the fretboard.
