Description
A vintage 1961 Gibson GA-40T Les Paul tweed tube amp. The GA-40T mates the thick, touch-responsive tone of a 50s-style tweed power section with the glassy clarity and headroom of 5879 pentode input tubes. The amp resembles a higher-fi version of the classic tweed deluxe. On top of its sweet blues and rock tone, the amp also features an extremely musical tube-driven tremolo. This particular example has seen plenty of use and has a few changes. However the transformers and major cosmetics are original. Thas amp has been freshly serviced with new power supply filter capacitors. It has been cleaned and tested. It is fully functional and sounds absolutely fantastic.
