Description
What makes this bass special: Killer looks, tone & vibe - this one has it all! Lightweight, very resonant with a warm, beefy humbucker kicking out some sweet vintage sounds! She's been around the block a few times & it has the road wear to prove it, but that just adds to the overall charm of this lovely short scale EB-0.
Cosmetic Condition: Good, honest play wear, just the way we like 'em - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking, buckle rash & some finish wear. There are a couple of surface cracks in the body down by the input jack, but these are purely cosmetic & do not affect playability. The finger-rest had been up on the bass-side of the body at some point, but is now back over the pickguard. The A tuner has a replaced back screw, but everything functions fine. Overall the bass has a great, well-played look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Semi-chunky mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Open-back tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 30" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Truss rod cover is unoriginal.
Body: SG-style solid mahogany body. Top-loading bridge with chrome hardware. 3-ply black pickguard with wooden finger-rest. There's a small chip out of one corner of the guard. Bass weighs 7 lbs 4.6 oz.
Electronics: Neck humbucker with chrome cover. Master volume & tone controls with black "top hat" knobs. Original pots & bumble bee cap. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
