Description
Condition: This is a great playing Duo Sonic with an authentic vintage look and vibe! The finish is original but the clear coat has been sanded off the top and back. Cosmetically there are scratches, nicks, dings, dents and weather checking throughout the finish. Much of the finish has worn off the back of the neck giving it a great worn in feel. There is some heavy checking and some chipping of the finish throughout the headstock. The neck has been re-fretted as evidenced by some light chipping and marks in the fingerboard around the frets (see photos). Fingerboard and frets otherwise have moderate play wear with heavier wear towards the lower registers. The neck is mostly straight and the truss rod functions fine. The nut has been upgraded to bone. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid double-cutaway body in a light blue finish. Top-load bridge with three individual saddles and a control panel with dual black plastic control knobs. 3-ply pearloid pickguard and dual control switches.
Neck: Very comfortable slender maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays, 1 9/16" nut. Kluson Deluxe tuners with ivoroid buttons. There is an extra slot next to the high e string slot on the nut.
Pickups/Electronics: Single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge with dual on/off/phase switches and master volume and tone controls.
Neck: 5.62K Ohms.
Bridge: 5.64K Ohms.
Weight: 7lbs, 5.0oz.
