Description
Condition: This is a great sounding vintage player’s grade Duo Sonic II. The guitar has been refinished and shows some signs of over-spray. There are various scratches and small nicks, dings and dents throughout the finish. There is a small dent in the bridge pickup cover but it does not affect the sound at all. There is consistent weather checking throughout the headstock and the tuners are unoriginal. Marks from the original machines are still visible. Some solder work has been done, some wiring was replaced and some capacitors were added to the phase switches and the volume pot. There is currently a wire running from the underside of the bridge to the underside of the control panel. This is unoriginal but works. An extra neck plate was added at one time and it has left an indentation in the finish. Pickguard, bridge saddles and nut are unoriginal. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid double-cutaway body in red finish. Top-load hardtail bridge with three individual saddles. Chrome control panel with black plastic control knobs and a 4-ply pearloid pickguard with slider switches.
Neck: Slender maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, pearloid dot inlays and a 1 5/8” bone nut. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear with heavier wear in some areas. There are some large dents in areas of the fingerboard. The neck is mostly straight and the truss rod functions fine. Nickel Kluson Deluxe tuners with ivoroid buttons, 24” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Single-Coil pickups in the neck and bridge with master volume and tone controls and dual on/off/phase switches.
Neck: 6.10K Ohms.
Bridge: 6.63K Ohms.

Playability/Sound: This Duo Sonic II offers a great feel and sound. The pickups offer a great vintage tone and the slender neck is extremely comfortable.
Case: Includes original hardshell case in good overall condition. The middle latch is broken, otherwise the case functions fine.
